They honestly need to add something similar to what the hunter call of the wild did. In the hunter cotw they have the Great Ones which are very rare animals that have special characteristics and in many cases can take thousands of kills to get. If they added some very rare variations like albino fish or world record size fish that would help with replayability for the hardcore players. This fixed the issue of completing everything to fast. Having extra rare things to search for really helped The hunter out and it would be nice to see FP do something similar

Indeed its the same i asked a couple of year ago in a video, i called it rare unique species.At Some point the devs said they are going to implement it, but never did.I had a idea about the existing areas to, just make new pegs on them.And make them higher level entry.I think is a lot easier to make then brand new areas. Example Falcon Lake Add a peg for level 50 and just put giant trout in that peg. New leaderboard that only resets every 3 months and give top player prices.In combo with very rare rank species. Sham

maybe in such big area, the bite system will change in that it rotates around as bait fish moves and the fish chase them.. so now you cant always fish same spot and get action all night long.. you have all the sonar, gps and FF to locate the baitfish and chase ahead of them to catch the target fish..like in real life fishing.. imagine players searching for seagulls and bait action to locate where the current actions/bites are..

I agree 100% with you. They’re spending so much resources just to get a 1 time paycheck from the people who will buy the dlc and after they’re done leveling up they just quit playing the game. Also the graphics of Fishing Planet are simply just very out dated and I don’t think they can get away with it forever. It’d be quite different if they could release a new location every month or so because then people would always have something to grind towards but it’s just not possible. They should just start working on a completely new game and design a new system where people have something to grind towards even if they are already max level.

I think the reason they made this ocean map so big is cause they will be adding more fish later. At least I hope that's the direction they are heading

dang looks exciting I'm lvl 32.. so won't make that anytime soon. probably cost a 100,000 just to travel there.

I would probably buy this and come back to the game just to avoid the grind, except nope, even for the $50 they will probably charge for this I will only be able to play it for 30-days unless I level up enough while I am there to stick around (unlikely). Just a sad state of affairs for the fishing game I actually enjoying playing the most but can't actually play to have fun. 🙄

So you buy access to the map. I lost interest after about level 50 because you level so slow after that and I paid for the Amazon map when I first played the game. Maybe I’ll check it out after it’s been polished I won’t pay for it at launch it’ll need updates
