I'm on the PS4 and fish directly across from where you are using a 6/0 hook and crawfish and pull in 21/22 lb Flathead consistently. Leader depth around 90". Only fish for them at early morning 5-7 A.M. Love your videos keep up the good work man.
@JVDigital19797 жыл бұрын
Nice! Bumping up the hook to a 6/O is not a bad idea. I tried crawfish out here by rubble of old times; didn't have much luck with em. I'll have to try them at this spot. Thanks for watching, man!

damn, they sure do put on a fight, you might need a new stronger reel lol. I might have to try em and have fun on light tackle. thanks for the entertainment jake

I could definitely bump the reel up a bit. You should go out there with a featherlight and see what happens lol. No problem buddy, always appreciate your support!

Nice one :) Must say you are a brave man for keep making your reel the weakest link in your setup. Line should be the weakest link ;) Reels can be broken with that setup as you found out already hehehehe. Like I mentioned before I don't like this river but you keep making it look like fun , as always I enjoy your vids and I think I will definitely give this place a visit again some time. Tight lines !
@JVDigital19797 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man. Yup, I figured the Prima 3500 would be enough to handle these badboys better, but discovered I could still bump it up to a reel that could handle fish this size better. Next stop, Oregon. Stay Tuned!

Oh man you are gonna have a ball there. Don't go stronger than 3.5kg gear and line there. It will spoil the fun :) ( 8lb ).

I'm looking forward to it. I want to have fun while I'm there, so I'll be sure to have some lighter equipment in my arsenal.

Since flatheads barely pay enough to cover the trip costs over one day, I go on multiple day fishing trips and spend the first day on bass which will cover costs easily. Then, for the following days, I just slam those catfish
@JVDigital19796 жыл бұрын
Yep, its best to fish multiple days at a lake. Get more of your money's worth!

I hooked one on a white spinner bait with a 2 inch white shad trailer while bass fishing and fought it for a good 15 minutes but I ended letting it spit the hook

I loved the video, I am a less experienced fisherman in game so I bought the 17 dollar bundle of packs and have been doing well in Missouri, what lake should I try next. I'm level 13 about to be 14.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I would say your next stop should be Emerald Lake in New York. There is plenty of money to make there by catching walleye. I have a video for how to catch the walleye there if you need some help.

how do ya keep em can some 1 tell me plz caught some but have to releasd em dont know ehy got anet and stringer
@JVDigital19797 жыл бұрын
Make sure you have an advanced license and that the single fish weight of your keepnet/stringer can hold a fish that gets above 30 lbs.

great video Like always. do you know of there's a website that shows the largest catches at each lake? if so can you post the link.
@JVDigital19797 жыл бұрын
Thank you, BigRed. Actually you can filter the biggest fish per lake on the leaderboards in-game.

Love your video's. But in this setup, you always break/tear down your reel. Your line is just to heavy. Got my biggest cat 19 pounder on just a 6 pound line. Fight took 10 real minutes. As long as your drag settings are in the yellow max.
@JVDigital19797 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I was hoping the Prima 3500 would better handle these guys, buy realized I could bump the reel up to one a bit more heftier.
