Aaaahhhh....fond memories from MANY years ago. First Beach camping site right across from the then Cape Hermes hotel. First light every day the 'gillies' were there....with crayfish still kicking in their plastic bags. Price? R2-50 per cray. Then there was Bashee river. Anybody that knows will tell you that the Bashee coast is still a bit of a drive from the National road. Yet there they were...flogging kicking crays at the national road side. How? The blokes made a plan to get to the coast, catch the crays....and keep them alive......in the "longdrop" toilets.... 😆
