In NJ, a fish finder is a must have. Simply because you can’t see in the water.

Man I couldn't motor past all those bridge supports without throwing that bucktail in there! Just got to be fish hiding out of the current on the downstream side waiting to ambush prey.

That’s what I was thinking too!

Was just here, had to wade out about 100 yards to get to waste deep water to fish but it was beautiful.....we were down at the end by the gate next to the highway. You can camp on the waters edge in this park too which is cool.

I was there this weekend on the bridge and the moment the current started ripping and the water got murky the bite stopped.

Hi Steve, watching you explore was great, I could do that all day too. Weather looked perfect, thanks for doing a video for those of us still stuck at home. Lol Good luck on your next trip man.

You probably know the water was tinged due to the tide on the Gulf side. It might be crystal clear near high tide. Thanks for the content! I have been trying to stay at Bahia Honda but it is in too high of demand.

We have that same thing in the Gulf of Mexico in Texas and in Louisiana they told me that the water wasn’t safe to swim in because it’s so polluted

Cool to see you exploring new areas in the Keys. Key west everytime was getting a little old after 2 years lol

I agree on the escape route being important to fish. I have noticed that if redfish are in an area that is far away from mangroves they like to be near a transition so they can go deep if there are birds and run up shallow when there are dolphins.
@denzilburriss51564 жыл бұрын
No redfish in this area....too far South
@jakewkayakfishing84574 жыл бұрын
@@denzilburriss5156 Yeah they are rare down there, but Steve has a redfish spot even further south.

Good video Steve. I believe we are going to be experiencing no wind and high temps for the rest of the week. High pressure dominate weather pattern. The ocean is like glass up my way. It's always a bad sign when the seagulls are on shore looking at me.

The launch areas in this part of the Keys seem more labor intensive than the couple spots you frequented in Key West. Hopefully the quality of fishing pays off.

7 ads during that video. 2 at the beginning 2 at the end and 3 during.

Only ad i got was near the end, but if watching the ad supports this channel, then i’ll never hit skip ad unless it’s like 5 minutes long
@marktaylor8654 жыл бұрын
Maybe 8 was just unlucky then. I like the channel. I have no issue supporting. I was getting at youtube getting greed more than anything. Doubling the number of ads. Putting them at the beginning and end of all videos and then charging a fee to get bo ads and stuff. To me they're getting greedy.
