Catching them up in water that isn’t even waist deep is what makes it special, favorite type of fishing

Hey Thonny, another fisherman named Matt, AKA Alabama Beach Bum uses the Slam Shady also when he was catching redfish in this Creek from today's video. He was catching smaller Redfish but very nice. You had a couple nice slots there it looked like. You need to do a catch and cook sometime. Have a good day. Keep the Content coming !

@@Thonny That just says that you're used to bank and bridge fishing. And a boat too. That's the beauty of kayak's, if you're careful you can sneak up on them!

Hey Thonny, enjoy your videos. I live up in Chicagoland and travel down to visit family - and love saltwater fishing. I'm down in Madeira Beach for the week 2/9-2/13. Any suggestions for inshore bite now? Looks like cool temps this week.
@Thonny2 жыл бұрын
Shrimp seems to be working good this time of year! Sheepshead and black drum bites been good. Also, redfish to! I’d fish the jetties with shrimp. Johns pass jetties or pass a grille jetties
@joegraham73002 жыл бұрын
@@Thonny thanks man. I fish a few spots that you visit regularly in your videos. I’ve never had the luck at Johns pass that you do but I keep trying.

@@joegraham7300 its been tough this winter though! But your best bet is sheepshead and drum fishing structure and jetties with shrimp

@@Thonny I was down last week for a couple days and actually coming back Sunday for a few days. I nailed a few sheepshead in residential canals in Madeira. I was out at Johns pass and didnt see any up and down the rocks - the rocks were also packed with tourists fishing. Let me know if you're out Sunday afternoon - Im heading back home Wednesday.

Is there anything different between that version compared to zman slam shady?
@Thonny2 жыл бұрын
Very similar but the salt strong slam shady version has a little bit of weight so you’ll be able to cast a little bit further which is key when targeting redfish. It has good action since the tail portion is so thin and you can use it as a jerk bait if the tail gets bit off. Try them out! It’s worth a shot
@calallen87862 жыл бұрын
@@Thonny i have one but been sitting in the bag for awhile definitely will try them out once I find a spot up here. Just moved to Homosassa few days ago. So gonna meet some fishermen's that my papaw introduced me too. So I'll learn tips and stuff up here. Definitely a big redfish country up here but bummed about snook being hard to catch 😕 but hey new tricks, new experience etc.
