Fishing SHARK INFESTED WATERS - Almost FELL IN! Tight Line Fishin' - Erica Lynn

Today we travelled 20 miles offshore of the Florida Everglades / aka MIDDLE OF NO WHERE to fish for HUGE Cobia! Fishing with Tight Line Fishin Charters, Captain Scout Morris is the 8th generation fishing these waters, and we had an awesome day! Huge wrecks were stock full of HUGE fish but also were home to some pretty massive sharks & Goliath Grouper. NOT a good time to fall in the water! Make sure to catch the part of the video where a Goliath grouper had me stuck in a hole, came out & as I was fighting him, the line snapped and I almost went in! That would've been a first. lol

Erica be careful girl! Sharks get irritating for sure but they are a source of fun sometimes. At the same time they can ruin a trip also. At any rate have a safe trip and have a blast on your adventures!

I was fishing just off Catalina island as a kid. I was a good swimmer, so the thought of swimming back even a couple of miles didn't bother me. However, the water was crystal clear and sharks were everywhere! We were lucky to pull in half a tuna. After that I decided I would only go out there again in a boat if it had a couple of backup options, lol.

Precisely why Bull Sharks scare me the most. They get all frenzied and act like a school of piranhas. Their speed, agility, stamina, and non-stop aggression terrifies me. Add to that the fact that they can get you not only in salt water, but fresh water as well.

That boat looks a little small for ocean fishing but, it looks like it worked out okay. My wife and I just relocated to Bonita and are looking for a boat we can use to fish the bays/flats and the ocean. What would you recommend without breaking the bank?
