Jellyfish Update: It's a newly identified species of Jellyfish in the Irukandji family called a 'Keesingia Gigas' and seems to have a Commensalism Relationship with the little file fish, which means the small fish benefit by using the Jellyfish as protection and the Jellyfish is not affected :) Oh and they would cause a horrible sting to Humans, so don't touch! Thanks for watching, Strick

What an amazing episode! I love the marine biology facts and think they would be a nice regular addition. The sea lions, though!!!! Watching them play was so fun and the pure joy in Fran was priceless. For me, the more animals I see, the happier, I am. Last but not least, dusk with salt air and ocean breeze. That scene was so nostalgic that I could almost feel it. Thank you again for sharing your adventures. --Jessica from Florida 🌞

Crazy good episode guys, and it’s common to see juvenile species of some fish using jellyfish for protection, very common amongst juvenile golden trevally not only using jellyfish but many species of shark and rays and it’s a classic symbiotic relationship generally more beneficial to the smaller of the two species, a bit more marine biology for viewers!

I have to ask; why do you always wear a dive suit, even though the water appears to be nice and warm?
@HyliaLove9 ай бұрын
Well one good reason is protection! The ocean has many hazards, and the dive suit can stop you being stung by jelly fish, sea urchins, or stingrays. Not to member if you get bit by a fish or small shark. Coral reefs are also exceptionally sharp, much more dangerous than they look!

Hey Strick and Frank, was so happy to here you say you had a tourniquet on board. Maybe even 3 or 4. If it hits the fan one day they will save you.
