I used to fish off of the Shabby cove island.. but I got bored so started looking around and I got hooked into something off the dock area of bearskin park. It finally snapped my line but I had it on for nearly 10 minutes w/ 20 pound braid and it went all the area i had to actually troll behind it and led me all around the islands down there. The furthest it got from me was 100 and something yards can't remember exactly. I thought it was finally tired out as it was slowly coming towards the boat and about 15 yards out, it turned to run again and snapped the line. I was not happy.. but I think it was a huge Muskellunge. I believe I was using a top water bait I think it was one of the frogs I cant remember.

Lake miller is really good. Good to see the big chinook and pike. That fish was one of the big Muskies or a Tiger Muskie nice try hitting the trolling motor but that’s a big fish. I’d go back there use same setup see if you can lock up on that beast again. That fish did the same thing as Porthos and only reason I landed that fish was I put trolling motor on immediately on full speed. Great video.

Cheers buddy that big fish the monster that got away 😂 was when i first landed on lake miller i wasnt quite set up regarding line , lesson learnt the hard way , i thought it was amusing using the trolling motor but i guess i was doomed to fail but that was one big fish , still trying to catch it but no luck yet , plenty of 40s and 30s but no 70s yet 🎣🦈👍

That cove is the first place I went on the map it's full of secrets. Keep on casting you'll get the big muskie yet

I have had quite a few muskies from there but no named trophies yet from there , did you manage to get a named trophy muskie out of the cove area ?

I caught a 68 inch 62lb muskie on a 8 inch ocean blue paddle tail swimbait, at lake miller, night time, heavy rain, 30lb braid

Wobbly! Thanks for this video. Just got the game recently (about a month ago) and saw this video and went to this spot for some bass. But hooked a giant muskie. Landed him for a personal best. 52.97 inches, 39.11 lbs. Somehow not a trophy fish though. *shrugs* Great to catch him though. Thanks for the great videos, keep them up!

What lure should I use here for bass? I don't have the big lure pack right now. Trying to do the bass competitions but only finding pike, trout, and salmon so far here. Don't know if I may be in the wrong spot for bass

I’m going to the same spot but I keep on catching tiny bass even though I am using the spoon you used. Do you have any suggestions on how to catch the salmon there.

This lake has a lot of bass in so the odds are your going catch more of them try spinners or swimbaits but expect to catch bass as well

Can u catch a trout on Williams? This week was a predator dfl there and the only predators are a bass and trout..I'm over legendary extraordinary whatever angler x5, but man..I cant even see one

@@Clubs2473 I started from hillside boat shack and headed east towards lakeside stores around 30-36 yards from the shoreline trolling I caught it as I was approaching lakeside stores just before the bay area water temp was 52F 14lb er will post the picture in the community section for you look at 👍

WobblyCaptain yeah that’s all I use on lake miller!! haven’t tried that spot out though. I have my own little honey hole! I pretty much only fish Lake Miller. Biggest Muskie has been 69lbs. Haven’t got a named trophy yet!!
