I don't know why, but I enjoy the trolling over sitting over a location. Maybe it is the sense of movement or action... you are doing something or going somewhere versus sitting and waiting. Either way, was a beautiful day out and thank you for the video!

I use the Carolina rig and put a bead below the sinker and one above. The one on the bottom will protect the knot.

Steven, all my slow pitch jigs have a swivel and assist hooks on both ends of the jig. I was surprised to see that you don’t any hooks on the end of yours.

It all depends on the style of jig im throwing. Illl add ball bearing swivel and assist hooks to a few different models in different scenarios
