Dude one thing ill give you over 90% of KZbin fisherman is we know you can catch fish but you dont just post videos in the same spots doing the same things over n over. You are well versed, you're like a book of knowledge and you actually explain what youre doing to your viewers. Hardly anyone else does this man. Love your vid as always. Well done

Always great content and I never miss an episode! You are the reason I started getting salty. I Bass fish the majority of my time, but I've been working in some Gulf Coast trips as well. I'm still new at saltwater fishing, and I pay very close attention to the set-ups and tackle you use. Thank you for teaching me something new.

Good to see ya this Saturday morning!! That view across the water was magnificent, like the edge of the earth so blue and beautiful!! Made "ocean blue" more real to me than ever before!! Sometime could you do me a favor and add a little more of your boat ride in with the Sun in view listening to your tunes, I just get whisked away with you in majestic paradise...if I was 20 years younger, and my dad was able to travel we would so be making a road trip! I don't know why, but I enjoy the trolling over sitting over a location. Maybe it is the sense of movement or action... you are doing something or going somewhere versus sitting and waiting. Either way, was a beautiful day out and thank you for the video!

I use the Carolina rig and put a bead below the sinker and one above. The one on the bottom will protect the knot.

Your knowledge of the gear, fish and whatever goes into fishing in the gulf is amazing and leaves me kinda confused as I do well to grab a cane pole and a cricket to catch a few in a creek! Steven, all my slow pitch jigs have a swivel and assist hooks on both ends of the jig. I was surprised to see that you don’t any hooks on the end of yours.

It all depends on the style of jig im throwing. Illl add ball bearing swivel and assist hooks to a few different models in different scenarios

So I have a really weak left wrist from an Army injury, so I like working lures with my left hand retrieve reels. I like fishing bait with my right hand retrieve reels!
