Fishing Spillway For HUGE Catfish (BIG REDEAR)

First fishing trip of the year went well, didnt land the mega catfish we were after vut we did stumble into a nice mess of big redear bluegill.

Use a circle hook with a snell knit and you'll catch more catfish. You are the first person I've seen use cutbait on treble hooks

The big bull bluegill are bedding and the redear along with them. I've been doing really good on the big ones last week. Catfish are spawning now to up in the rocks.

I really beleive if you were useing circle hooks instead of the treble hooks you may have caught the ones you missed,I wont use treble hooks ever anymore I think thats the old school way to fish myself . but thats just my opion.
