I could not fit a 19' boat in my garage. HOA rules where I live dictate that it must be kept in the garage so a larger boat was not an option.

Minus HOA rules the boat is small. I just sold my 162 and I kept mine in the garage. If I did it over I’d at least got with the 178. The cooler seat plus extra foot makes it a different boat.

What part of St Augustine are the jetties located at? Can you get there on foot? What's slot at for reds?

The South Jetties where I do the majority of my jetty fishing is accessible through Anastasia State Park. I have never accessed it by foot myself but I have seen many people fish from the rocks there. The North Jetties are accessible from Vilano Beach. You can walk or drive to those with a 4 wheel drive. A slot red is between 18" and 27" you may possess 1 slot redfish. Tight lines 🤙 🎣

Nevermind, didn't finish watching the video lol. You used a 1/4 jighead at the jetties? Every time I go out there the current is ripping, can't keep the baits down

I try to catch it at the tide change. Roughly an hour and a half either side. After that I move to the creeks, ICW or near shore if conditions permit. Tight lines 🤙 🎣

Hi Lawrence, Thank you for watching. My Carolina Skiff 162 JLS powered by a 90hp Suzuki tops out at 40 mph 1 person ideal conditions. WOT is 6300 RPMs. It cruises comfortably at 25 to 30 mph at 4200 - 4700 RPMs and averages over 7 mpg in average conditions. I hope this helps. Tight lines 🤙 🎣
