Is the music from “The hunt for red October” , interesting approach to landing grayling without wetting your hands first.

It is no surprise that one of the most original and influential guitarists also knows how to fish. Geordie landing that pretty grayling on the Lambourn is the most 'real' part of this video from a fishing (and general 'good taste') point of view. It's a better video than most in this 'genre' how ever you look at it. The Test is invariably boring though - 'longest stock pond in Europe' and all that. Geordie - CFO my favourite too!

Love that music! No boring fish wooping! No faux presenter cheese. Lovely vid. Must fish the Lambourn one day. It’s where east meets west so ideal for catching up with London friends. Forgive me for asking but which fishery was it?

Would have loved to watch this but couldn't put up with the awful excuse for music. Why do you need music anyway, what is wrong with just the conversation and the natural noises about the river ?
@davidgray33213 жыл бұрын
Smack on target there Gerald , where do you fish?

@@davidgray3321 Don't do much now but drifting Scottish lochs and fishing trout in small rivers and burns
@davidgray33213 жыл бұрын
That’s the ticket, those trout are as wild as the wind as Hugh Falkus would say, have done some of that myself and for the last decade dry fly on the DErbyshire Dove, wild fish only, but far too many members of the public, so this year will try Cotswold fly fishers. Have a good season.

Oh dear nymphs on a river, tantamount to poaching and should really be a hanging offence, dry is the only way to fly.

What lovely natural surroundings only to be ruined by the sound of primitive noise called music, ....awful and irritating
