The Manistee River offers about a hundred miles of fishing thru the western portion of Michigan's lower peninsula. Here I spend a day floating down the middle section in search of large rainbow and brown trout. Along the way we stopped to take a look at a small tributary, Hopkins Creek, which I mistakenly refer to Ham Creek.
