Fishing the Mouth of the River!!! - Mobile Bay

This Morning we start out fishing the mouth of the rivers where we catch fish on ever cast of the docks. After we fish the docks we head into Mobile Bay to target Jacks and Redfish. After chasing Jacks in the bay we finish out the day with targeting flounder along the grass lines.

I think u have to be a mile off the land to drag a net but I’m not sure exactly cuz I don’t drag

You can drag Arlington Channel, mouth of Fowl River, mouth of Bayou La Batre and from Dauphin Island Marina out under the bridge year round for bait with a Rec Shrimp license.

He sure does, I learned something new. I did not know that the mouth of fowl river starts about at the marina from the Alabama marine resources shrimping map. You are able to drag a net for “ bait shrimp” from their to becons 5&6. Learn something new every day.
