Fishing the River Eden - Wild Brown Trout

This stretch may be fly only. It has just been brought to my attention and so wanted to let everyone know * A nice chilled video this week as we go exploring the diminutive River Eden in Cumbria searching out whatever species of fish we can find and managing a lovely brown trout on a baking hot summers day. Could I have to location to this spot please. I’m here with work and I’ve just bought a cheap set up to wet the line. I’ve managed to snare one rainbow trout however I can’t seem to find any still pools for float fishing

Spot near Carlisle and a nice spot in Warwick bridge usually find chub and trout every time I have been there

Hi do u know what fish are in the river I know there’s defo trout but some people said there’s pike and that but I don’t know

Not sure about pike mate, I heard stories of chub but all I know is in there for sure is trout, salmon, grayling and minnows but no doubt there's also dace, roach and I'd guess perch :)

Hi Luke could you take this video down please as this is a fly only club and you are not fly fishing. This is poaching and it clearly states on the day ticket that it is fly only. It’s been days now since I messaged you on instagram and you have not replied. I understand this might be an inconvenience to you but I need to protect the club water. Ill be contacting the club today if it doesn’t get removed 🤷‍♂️

I don't check instagram messages everyday, I would not have put up a video if I was poaching, I paid to fish this stretch from the newsagents in the market square of kirby stephen and I'm pretty sure I bought a coarse ticket. I will change the description of the video to say it may be fly only incase I was mistaken but I'm not going to take down a video that's been up nearly two years. I'm just putting up fishing videos and not hurting anyone. When you first messaged I thought you were offering me friendly advice not threatening my videos. I can't unfish it or unmake the video. Let's now leave it be.

Pretty pointless fishing that far up the Eden for coarse fish, theyre mostly found in the lower reaches, Warwich Hall, Carlisle etc. Theres no roach, no perch, either.
