Fishing the Sooty World Championship

Last weekend I went for a run up to annual World Sooty Championship held at Eungella Dam. This is one of my favorite comps and it’s been a few years since being able to attend so I was a bit excited to get back up there to chase a few sootys! The comp for me was full of fails but I did come away 16th which is a pretty good finish despite the circumstances. I blew up my prop which damaged my gearbox, and had a brag mat malfunction which cost me dearly but overall it was an epic weekend with a good crew of competitors!
