Mono has more stretch so less chances of pulling the hooks and just the original way of game fishing Using mono 👍

Did you keep a bonito and use it for bait ? Excellent snapper bait. That will get you a decent snapper.

Yeah awesome snapper bait but to many yellowtail and slimy mackerel there and they pick the flesh of it before it hits the bottom that's why I use brined pilchards nice and solid and heavy so you can get a unweighted bait down 👍

Floating pilchard in wash from the rocks is good for snapper mate depending on where u fish mite still get a few snags but that's part of rock fishing 👍
