Drone footage is just hectic as usual Andrew. That big flatty made a welcome change to the constant smaller ones mate👍It's been much the same in Lake Mac for me at the moment too.....just small flatties and even smaller choppers. I'm going to give top water a crack in the local creek this weekend. Bit of a change for me. I haven't been up there for a few years.

@@petersimpson4916 thanks pete i had it up before the wind. I think il fish the edges next trip for a change. Smae reason just to do something different. Light rods are rigged up ready to go. Might even toss out a surface lure myself. Probably get peppered with small stuff 😂

Just been to BCF this afternoon to buy a lot of Bait Junkies to target Flathead in the Hawkesbury / Pittwater / Cowan. I usually use bait/prawns, but will see how I go.

Love the vids as always lowy! Quick question do you use your electronics much or do you still fish a spot even when you haven’t marked any fish ? Mainly when fishing for Jew?

@@toddjames8763 i will still fish the spot if i dont mark any up just to see whats about. At least half hour before il try somewhere else. I look for baitfish on the sounder so if there about il cast. If its completely dead no baitfish or jewies an still have some casts incase the flattys are hungry.

Happy New Year Andrew. I'm the same as you, just go exploring if things are quiet, just nice being in the boat. Nice flattie that one, pity you lost the other couple, would have made a reasonable day. I'll be glad when the school holidays are over, being retired i go through the week. Still a good vid.

@@Nathan-hb3pu most likely mate. It flows pretty hard so the water should b fine. An besides up in fullerton cove i dont thinks theres any other restrictions on where u cant eat fish in the hunter.

@@richrichy732 yer that session was quite slow. If i didnt get that big flatty i wouldnt have even done the video. I did lose 2 big fish that same day unfortunately. Didnt even have time to get the camera on before they got off. Those are the breaks 🤷‍♂️

@@dream.apparel1 i fished there as a kid but never since then. My pop used to take me at night there an it used to be really popular. Lots of ppl an i remember plenty of flattys caught there.
