Fishing Under the Bridge | Swan River Bream

A very windy morning here in Perth, instead of me kayaking, I went under the Canning Bridge in Perth to fish for the first time. Fishing Under the Bridge in the Swan River is a lot of fun, hoping to catch the Big Black Bream but always there is another chance, and that is fishing. Always happy to catch any fish that can make my rod bend.

@@fishwithchris03 yeah, usually for tailors though. Blowies take all the bait so I only cast lures for tailors. Danga uses blades for bream along the pylons.

There's abit of everything there, brim herring Taylor flat head, heaps of crabs 🦀 they float on top of the water late at night people just scoop them up

Sometimes they are not there but if you use mussels as bait, black bream really likes that and maybe you can get away catching blowies, you can use lures too. Thanks bro.

Easy bro, I did a bit of a walk, I parked near where the boats are parked behind that tall building. Free parking for three hours bro. Then walk to the other side of the bridge and the on the left go down and you will find it. My first time though, not sure if there is a free parking closer. Hope that helps. Cheers.

Can you show us how you hook the prawn to the hook?

I apologize if I didn't show in the video, you only need a small hook and small prawns for bait, just poke the hook into the prawn several times. The only problem are the blowfishes. Some people use lures mussels, breams loves that and can get away from the buggers.🎥🎥😁😁🎣🎣💯💯 Cheers
