This sessions was interesting, a very slow start which quickly turned into a hot bite for a very short period! Take your chances when the bites hot because it doesnt last long!
thanks for watching!

None of the Sydney oysters are safe to eat, just too much chemical run off and feral matter in the water. Even carefully controlled oyster beds in the Brooklyn area keep getting infected.

Shellfish no , fish yes . I’m old enough to have eaten fish caught by commercial fishing when they were still in the bay so I more than likely already have eaten fish from there . Seriously if you eat them in moderation you are not going to drop dead , same goes for the parra river/ Sydney Harbour - I have eaten tons of fish from there over the first 20yrs,of my life and i ain’t dead yet , I haven’t grown new body parts and my heavy metals and dioxin levels are fine .

People sit ouside next the road breathing toxic fumes and smoking cigarettes. This is after the dity chefs have been sitting on buckets in the back lane smoking and picking their noses. Eating the odd fish from botany bay not as great a health hazard. Living in a large city is a health hazard.
@gungetcha
@gungetcha 3 ай бұрын
It’s a bit different opposed to what they used to dump in the ocean, it was something I found interesting to read on and how certain toxic things will accumulate in a fish as it grows over time and limitations to how much the human body can handle of these over set periods of time, anything east of the harbour bridge definitely needs to be consumed somewhat sparingly over a month west should only be caught for sport at this stage

It’s not about water quality it’s about the dioxins from the sand/sediment caused by heavy industrial impact for a long time not saying don’t eat any if just do it in moderation when it storms they stir back up fish filter the water and that’s where the problem comes from you could see the ocean floor 10m deep and still run the risk of eating unhealthy doses that lead to cancer or firing blanks
