Fishing Upper Brisbane River Post Flood 2022

Just an impromptu morning out at the Upper Brissy River. The waterways are still chocolate coloured with suspended solids still being present.
I was hoping for some fish action but in the absence of fish, I talked a lot.
Still a pretty location regardless of the flood evidence. Ill be back on the kayak which will put me in a far better position to roam.

Pretty sure this is the place I went 11 years ago and there was heaps of bass or perch swimming around a tree around middle of the river, can't really remember that well pretty sure the smaller bridge was still there, never got to do any fishing there though

Hi Khaosau, not sure of the timeline that tells when the old bridge was replaced but there's been a few 100 yr floods over the past few decades 😀 The location is Gregors Creek road. The new bridge is recent.

You’ve been doing vids for 8yrs! Wow.. long time! Awesome! May I suggest you do something you’re more comfortable with first to start off? You definitely show I lot of passion for the sport. I actually sat quietly and watch through the whole 35mins of it. Do you just fish around Fernvale there? Don’t try saltwater fishing? I browsed your whole channel. Your editing is good. Thanks for watching Sonnie, appreciated. Ill check out some more of your uploads later. I do fish the rusty water sometimes but I prefer the fresh. (Although I do fish the Baffel for Jacks quite often. Been fishing the upper reaches of the Brissy and other tributaries and the dams for close on 25 yrs now. Not always fishing related up on Utube, Ive recently started uploading vids since Ive retired 6 months ago. Am enjoying the creative side of editing now. The channel is mainly for friends and family. I dont need to earn a living from it ;) so all content is more personal. I dont really focus on the gear I use or the technical side of what we do. Rather, just the experience showcasing all that the Brisbane and Lockyer valleys hold. (Something to look back on in the yrs to come) Have lots more ideas to showcase and areas to focus on and lots more footage to take. Thanks again for your comments.
