We have a Panther Creek here too. It was named that because there are a lot of Mountain Lions in the area.

I was just at the lower mountain fork river on the 14th on an 8 mile kayak ride for my birthday, and the water was so clear I saw a flathead on the bottom when it was over ten feet! Saw lots of smallmouth and largemouth!
