This is the Simplest video I have come across to catch a feed or do something you love and sell the good ones of whatever species to local shops. Will share this with a few buddies of mine, first heard about cannons about 5+ years ago, it was a pumpkin bazooka, shesh that cannon sent that pumpkin a long way!!!!

I have used one here in the states..but I use air power it's more consistent and legal. I use a pvc bobber I made no wasted potato's lol..be careful my neighbor blew his eye out with a hairspray potato cannon. Hard to guage the strength left in pvc after long times of use. Also my air cannon is made of steel. All in all awesome !

I had a brain wave of this concept this morning, instead shooting a golf ball with a lead sinker inside, lower resistance and hopefully better distance. Drawing up the model now. I searched for ideas similar and found another one in NZ! Good ol Kiwi ingenuity huh

Does the bait stay on the hook when you launch? I made a bait launcher and I used a 6"-7" smaller diameter pipe to be the weight and the bait / hook holder... Your idea would be good if the bait stays on the hooks. I may try it myself to see...

yes the bait stayed on the hook perfectly. Possibly less stress on the bait since the sinker and hooks are all pushed out together rather than the bait getting accelerated by a sudden pull from the hooks.

with the smell of butane or whatever it is on the bait ... your catch will be a scale and nothing else. Fishes will smell this and just leave cause it will be chemically poisoned. If you do it with a compressed air cannon then it'd yield better range imho.

@@turns_out_im_kevin explosion creates even more chemicals that get stuck on the bait and line. Check out the compressed air alternatives, there are some videos that show how to. Always careful of course...these are pressure vessels.
