I so miss using that John Wilson rod ur using Clive. I snapped about six inches off the Avon tip. I used that rod for everything feeder, float, legering , freelining. Even done dropshotting, with the quiver tip to see if I liked it before buying a proper dropshot rod. I’ve had two twenty pound carp on it had a 15.8lb pike on Avon tip. It smashed my feeder when reeling in. If anyone on here has a spare Avon top for this rod I’d love to buy it or if selling a complete one. Mind you I don’t expect anyone to sell the rod because if u own one you proberly love it. Anyway great vid Clive as usual mate.

Wow that's so cool story mate, I keep my ears open if anything pops up, as for the rod, I popped into my tackle shop to buy some bait only, you know as we do, and there in front of my eyes the rod, well just had to have it, and yes I had one many years ago, another angler saw the rod as I was browsing, he wanted to buy it, sorry she said....it has just been sold lol 😆 all the best mate, thanks for watching.
