I read an interesting study from the University of Arkansas about bass feeding on crawfish with and without claws, there was an 80% higher consumption rate of crawfish without claws.
@greghammett78944 жыл бұрын
Makes sense. Predators prey on the weak. Thanks for sharing that study. Makes me want to try removing one claw on jig trailers to see if there's a difference

You really should add a spotted bass into the backyard pond or in a pond with Moby. I would love to see which would be more aggressive and if they would eventually spawn.

Have you ever thought of fishing the coosa for spots which recently people where shocking the water below Jordan dam and had a 12lb spot also those fish fight hard and there are plenty of giant spots up there which my biggest spot that I caught there was around 6lbs
@BamaBass4 жыл бұрын
It's on my bucket list, I've heard stories about the big ones that live there.
@peytonwalls98374 жыл бұрын
BamaBass which if do ever go there just be careful because there are giant rocks there that can put a hole in your boat if you’re not careful which my only reference would the time a pro angler hit a rock in I think the 2015 Alabama river charge bass master show

I see their are 15 tournament guys who think live crawdads are cheating :) lol Anyway, I LOVE fishing with live crawdads. But I always preferred the females with much smaller claws and thinner shells. This might vary depending on exact species of course. Also, two clawed dads are better than one.
