I avidly fished the Everglades up till 1974 I was born in Homestead all the fish your catching in this video I have never seen before the birds I hear in this video iv never heard before iv lived in Oklahoma since 1974. I the waterways use to be full of gar and accasional alligator lots of bass and brim cotton mouths came across the waters at night and still shortly after daylight. Osceola turkey and wild pigs and very small deer bobcats and once in a lifetime you might see a florida panther or hear one scream at night the sounds of frogs were defining Cooperhead and pigmi rattlers and diamondbacks coons opossums and turkey buzzards and skunk apes. What happened to all that?

Well, the snakes got over 90% of the small mammals. (Pythons) panthers, still around. Gar, plentiful. Gators everywhere. Unbelievable how many there are. I don’t spend much time out there at night, but I’m sure most of what you encountered then still roams. It’s protected.
