Got me thinking that crab pot pulling would be a good add to NorCal Iron Man Triathlon competitions.😎 You did a great job justifying why Mrs. Addict was allowed to bait, prep, and toss the pots without a lick of help from you. Had some of us thinking, “Why is she doing all the dang work?” Question answered! As for the seasickness, what meds if any did you take? My doctor hooked me up with a prescription I’ve used a decade without any problems. Lastly, would you be kind enough to comment on the safety considerations required to crab in a boat your size at Bodega Bay? I’m fearful some will see this and think it’s all e-z-p-z. Thanks again for yet another outstanding vid...my weekly dose of outdoor greatness!
@fishingaddict56384 жыл бұрын
😅😅😅 Amazingly she doesn’t get seasick at all! Boy! 80+ft pulls 10xs had me thinking is it worth it, but she looks so happy at all the huge crabs so kept me going! No meds were taken. I’ve tried Dramamine in the past, but it didn’t help. Only got me drowsy. Maybe I should look into a prescription one. In a boat like mine, it’s still considered small for the ocean. Always check weather conditions and find calm days with low swells and light winds. Always look for under 6 mph winds and under 5ft swells in at least 14 seconds. Anything higher than mentioned, I wouldn’t recommend for a small boat like mine. Thank you very much my friend.

Looks like mama is a sailor. However it looks like you are having a little seasickness. What I do is take Dramamine before bed with food then again with breakfast. This give it time to get completely into your system. If I just take it in the am before I go it does not work as well. Been there and chummed with the best. Lol

Getting out on the bigger water do you ever worry about only one motor if that one fails? How would you get back?
@fishingaddict56384 жыл бұрын
I do get worry about that. That's why I don't go too far out. Where we went, there were other boaters around too. I also have a ICOM M93D vhf radio and a ACR emergency beacon with me just in case. If needed, I'll use the troll motor. Thank you for the concern thoughts for me. I truly appreciated it.
