I know this video is old and you may not see this but do you know if you can catch anything from the surf or any piers, and if yes do you have any spots to recommend?

Hey there, thanks for watching! Yes, you can definitely catch fish from the surf and piers in the DR. Common catches from shore include Snapper, Jacks, and even Barracuda. It depends on where you'll be visiting exactly, but it you're staying around Punta Cana or Bayahibe, try casting near rocky areas, beaches, or jetties where fish like to gather. Some spots to check out first are: Cabeza de Toro Beach (Punta Cana), Playa Juanillo (near Cap Cana), and Bayahibe Beach. Just keep in mind that shore fishing can vary with conditions, so asking locals or visiting a tackle shop for tips can be super helpful too. You can also book a local charter through fishingbooker.com if you want a guided experience. Hope you have an awesome time fishing in the DR!

Hi, I’m planning on staying at Bayahibe La Romana region and taking my own fishing gear, is there any beach fishing nearby or charter inshore fishing, staying at either the Hilton La Romana or Catalonia. Any help is appreciated.

Hey there, thanks for watching! Both the Hilton La Romana and Catalonia are beautiful resorts with access to some great fishing opportunities. For beach fishing, you might want to explore the shores around Bayahibe. For inshore charter fishing, we recommend checking out some of the deals in the region, including Bayahibe, Dominicus, La Romana, and Casa de Campo Marina. You can download the FishingBooker app or go to fishingbooker.com/destinations/country/do to take a look at the options. Let us know if you need any other info! Tight lines 🎣

Hey I read that there are rainbow trout in the rivers ? Are there any river where I could catch? I’m planning a week long trip this summer.
@FishingBooker11 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! Rainbow Trout are typically found in freshwater environments with cold, clean water, such as rivers, streams, and lakes in regions with temperate climates. The Dominican Republic, with its tropical climate, doesn't have naturally occurring populations of Rainbow Trout in its freshwater systems. However, there are some exceptions. In certain areas of the country where there are colder microclimates or higher elevations, such as the mountains of the Cordillera Central, there have been efforts to introduce Rainbow Trout for recreational fishing purposes. These introductions are often associated with specific Trout farms, private fishing reserves, or controlled environments where water conditions mimic those suitable for the species. So, while Rainbow Trout are not native to the DR, it's possible to find them in limited, controlled environments established for recreational fishing purposes. If you're interested in pursuing Rainbow Trout in the DR, we recommend researching specific locations or facilities that offer Trout fishing opportunities. I love to fly fish and got very sick the one time I tried deep sea fishing in Aruba. Any recommendations for guides that have good trips for me? My main target fish id like a crack at would be either mahi or bonefish and permit or tarpon
