Always struggled to attract the carp in my local lake. Drove me crazy. They were swimming all around me but I just couldn't interest them to bite.

Make a feeding spot, get corn there with a sling, make a good rig and they will bite..

Haha yeah they can be tricky.... try that pack bait and bait an area you know they are in... that catapult or sling is SUPER handy... get yourself a hair rig and bam, I'm sure you'll be in ;)
