haha i hear ya... yeah a lot of the yellow perch fishing videos depending on the time of year will be great lakes or north orientated. We have sooooo many white perch all over the mid atlantic it really is a super fun and accessible fish to find and catch... gotta love these little guys. So gald you landed on a video you liked. I thought when tuna hits air it dies supposably
@Johnnyfishalot2 күн бұрын
Thanks for the question Don... as you can see from the video that is not exactly the case... Tuna will be able to survive for a little while out of the water... they will eventually die of asphyxiation which is both aweful for the fish and for the meat... this way the fish is dispatched much quicker and limits its suffering and makes the meat taste better... thanks for watching.

HAHAHA Hey Jared... I'm sure you were... There were tons of fish in those back bays... that's for sure... I went fishing a few days after this video (future video) and caught loads of fluke and a few well over 20 inches! You know its funny... I saw probably 15 boats drift right by us on the docks there and not a single one caught any fish, if you didn't get in those holes/the point you weren't catching... I'm sure you and your kiddos have been lighting it up all summer though, always see those little guys with tons of fish on facebook haha. Hope you had a great summer!! Thanks for the comment and the support!!

Couldn’t do that on the boat. Had to wait to get them in the parking lot and let him sit on the blacktop for a while.
@Johnnyfishalot5 күн бұрын
haha not sure if this comment is joking around with me or not... sometimes its tough to tell in the comments... the fish was dispatched on the boat as it was still alive... haha why would you lay it on the black top for a while??? again, you may be joking.... so that would be funny... if not, this was done on the boat...

Hello, how can you tell what is for Freshwater and what is for Saltwater? Some Gulp is marked freshwater and some saltwater. Other packages, including the recharger, are not marked.
@Johnnyfishalot5 күн бұрын
Hey Allen... I think I answered this previously for your, but in case you missed that previous response I am reposting here for you. please let me know if you have any questions. thanks. "great question... the answer is its all a matter of marketing... There is no difference in the gulp juice. I mix the fresh and saltwater juices all the time and it doesn't matter... I will say... the one thing that 100% DOES matter is not mixing the dark colors in with the really bright colors... what happens is the dark colors and white color combos will turn the gulp juice dark after a while and will dull / darken all your light colors... So if you have Chartreuse/whites/etc I'd recommend keeping those colors separate and the dark colors separate... I hope that helps... Thanks so much for all the questions. I love talking fishing!!!"

Does this damage the fish?
@Johnnyfishalot7 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching @Toysinmyattic1 I know it may look bad, but no worries, that those fish were caught for human consumption. We spike / bleed the the fish to dispatch them quickly and reduce any suffering, then we ice the fish to preserve the meat. This prevents the fish's ultimate sacrifice from being needless. Thanks again for watching.
