not gonna lie smalls a smaller fluke like bait on a 1/8 or a 1/32 jig head is straight money in the creeks. ive caught blue cats, channel cats, black fish, bass, longear, pumpkins and more all in one spot with just a white fluke. also bobby garland makes a small green and purple speedworm type micro soft plastic that any fish cant resist.

I live and grew up in northwest Arkansas fishing creeks you have to wade. I skip the fish baits and slow water deep holes( blacks and spots) and focus on the fast water and 1/8 ounce jig head and 2 inch soft craw ( smallmouth). More fun to catch and tastier. Love your channel smalls. My favorite along with your bruber ayo.

Now you're on the right track. The creeks around us hold the meanest fish😊. Put the boat down and grab a yak. I got 6 creek runs within 30mins drive. Routinely catch 3-5lbers out of the same sized creek.
