Hey Keith! Another great video, using something as simple as a paper clip with just a little imagination. I'm sure many of us have probably already used the ol' paper clip zipper pull hack for our jeans and jackets. Now I have a better use for all those paper clips I've accumulated from all of the paperwork I've had to do over the years.👍

I use the elastic hair ties for zippers. I also use them instead of rubber bands. They don't rot and they are like little bungee cords (I just steal them from my wife). 😁

I Use paper clips to make my Hook Holder on my rods that don't have them ,,, ALWAYS keep Paper Clips,, Glass Beads And Rubber Bands In The Tackle box,,this ain't About paper clips BUT ,,,, Glass Beads Give you a good return IF you Use LiveScope And I Do , And Glass Beads don't Add extra weight if you don't want extra weight added To your line when Jig fishing AND you just get the Great extra return that sometimes helps you see your Jig, Rubber Bands --> I thread the End of My Fishing line Thru the hole in the glass bead then put the live end of the line Thru the rubber band and Back Thru the glass bead Then pull and stretch until the rubber band pulls Thru the hole in the glass bead then pull the live end of the Fishing line back out and the bead is on your line, the rubber band Holds The bead in place on your line and also Makes it adjustable , I have used this Glass Beads trick for a ultimate bobber stop on my Long jig poles too , The $1.25 store is Awesome 💯😎 ,,lol

Add any heavier sinker with an eyelet on to a paperclip, and you have yourself a lure knocker if you are hung up. Guide your line in the paperclip, and hold your rod tip high to get the momentum.

A bit of advice on the Tokyo rig. If you fish around wood, down trees, limbs etc… use a pointed bullet weight. Round, football or egg shaped weights tend to wedge themselves on any Y shaped wood it contacts. The way it’s made in this video, a wedged weight will pull off bit if you don’t wanna keep replacing weights…

Keith, Have you ever purchased a rod and it doesn't have a hook holder on it down by the reel so you have to hook your lure on one of the line eyes. Well paper clip #12 you can cut a paper clip bend both ends and either tape the paper clip on the rod or wrap it with fly tying thread. Now you have a place for your lure. Thanks for showing those 11 hacks ~ Two thumbs up. Tight Line

Another good use for paperclips I'd recommend is if you use baitcasters or conventional reels and need to take the reel off the rod to travel with them, you can tie the end of your line to a paperclip instead of buying those buckle stoppers.

My favorite video hacks. I also use a paper clip as a sinker slide on the line. Using small ones will be weak enough to pull free and save your terminal tackle. I also drill holes in small sections of tire weights... thread them on the paper clip.... then wrap the other end of the paper clip clip around the line.... cheapest sliding sinker I know.... know what I mean? You know what I mean.... just saying....
