Yeah, Affleck is seeming more and more checked out every year. I think it was Justice League. He played Batman for years and got nothing but hate then they do a new one and everyone loves it. It is like he can't catch a break and is tired of it.

I like how you say least favorite. I almost always find something to like about every film I see. I only ever walked out of one film in my life. It was Gravity. The space scenes were making me physically ill. And unbelievably anxious.

I feel like Aquaman 2 doesn't deserve to be on this list, not because it wasn't bad - because it's fuckin' bad lol - but because it was doomed to fail due to constant setbacks and a disgraced costar they had to edit out (within legal limitations). Pretty much, the film never had a chance to succeed.

What’s sad about that Dear David movie is that the director, John McPhail, had just come off making Anna And The Apocalypse, which is a Scottish Christmas Zombie Horror Comedy Musical and one of the most fun films I’ve seen in a while. And he goes from that… to THIS???

Guys I love your work! I do have to make a commentary and hope you both take it the right way. Your description "Gay homosexuals" Nick and Joseph rundown their least favorite films of 2023" I am reacting to your description not in a good way. To be direct your description annoys me. I find that describing yourselves as "Gay homosexuals" to be demeaning and self deprecating when I read it. I get it that you are gay but the words together "Gay homosexuals" seem like that's your only identity. I believe you are much more than that. I think you guys are funny, smart and on-point with your reviews. Your reviews help me navigate what movies to see and also help give me clarity why I don't like a movie. Example your review of "Bros". I can relate to Nick's comments about the white muscle queen scene and how that movie captured everything he did not like about the gay community. That comment resonated with me which told me that you are more than how you described yourselves. I am an accomplished, secure and gay Filipino man in his 50s living in a quiet suburb of Chicago with my partner of 20+ years. Keep it coming. Happy 2024. Looking forward to your reviews this year.
