Furiosa's metal arm wasn't bionic it was prosthetic. Even having something functional to the point of being useful at all would be quite an accomplishment in this setting, realistically. Having it be BETTER than a regular arm would be distractingly unrealistic even in something as over-the-top as this. Furiosa's romance with Jack was understated for a reason. They didn't show chemistry or act all lovey dovey because that would be showing WEAKNESS in the wasteland.

What are you talking about "no Junkie XL score" ?? Junkie XL did the score for this movie. "Tons of green screen and CGI", but no more than Fury Road. Fury Road has roughly 2000 enhanced shots. This has about 2700, but it's also 30 minutes longer. Averages out to roughly the same.

@@gamerdrops The score is perfectly fine. It fits the movie. It's different from Fury Road. Not as frantic and bombastic, because this is a completely different kind of movie, and that kind of score wouldn't fit this movie. This isn't Fury Road 2. Or Fury Road the prequel. If you're just looking for the same thing over again, then George Miller isn't the director for you. He doesn't do that. Go watch a Fast & Furious or Transformers movie instead.

I thought she was goin lose her hand because the son just wouldn't leave her alone n figured it was the map n she had to cut it off losing her only way home but they just forgot all bout his lil obsession but it was OK movie. Nobody is talking about all the stupid moments in this movie like her ripping her arm off and stealing a bike while being literally circled by people then riding up a mountian on a bike with 1 arm. While all the two armed people are like naw this is too hard im out. How about that horrendous forced romance? Or my personal favorite the narrator coming in at the climax of the movie to be like "the battle was insane trust me bro". Oh yeah and Why exactly does furiosa hate imortan Joe again? If they didnt take her in she wouldve died in the wilderness and she actively helps him in this film. Remember me? Yeah i remember YOU HELPED ME. WE SAVED YOU. Lol she kinda comes off as ungrateful now in my opinion like yeah the dude is scummy but we never once create a narrative about why shes against these forced marriages or anything like that. Is she mad that shes being forced to stay there? The fact Joe isnt the one who stole her awacompletely destroys the revenge story of the first movie. He isnt even framed as a villian in this movie just some wierdo with a bunch of wives.
@mocthezuma2 ай бұрын
Mr. Harley helps her escape being strung up by the arm. It's literally set up at the start of the scene. Mr. Harley is apprehensive through that whole scene, and first goes to string her up by her right arm when Dementus interferes and says "No, mate Other arm!" Mr. Harley doesn't comply and Dementus goes up to him and asks "What? Lost your touch?" At which point Mr. Norton strings her up by her injured arm. It's blatantly obvious what happens, but I guess some people need everything spelled out to them. And someone slipping away unnoticed when a lot of people are riding their motorcycles around making tons of noise and kicking up sand and dust all over the place isn't too big of a stretch in a cinematic universe where a guy with no eyes who wears his dead mother's face as a mask plays a flame-throwing guitar on a huge truck full of speakers and drummers. Immortan Joe assigned Furiosa to watch over the wives in the Citadel. She had to witness him raping them countless times. They begged her to help them. She was there to "protect" them, but what they needed was protection from their captor. After a while she had enough and helped them escape. Nothing in this movie takes away any of her motivation in Fury Road. If anything it enchances it. All of this is explained in the graphic novel that came out when Fury Road was released. It also has Nux's backstory, Immortan Joe's rise to power, and two chapters on Max's travels in the wasteland leading up to Fury Road. Everything in the comic is considered Canon.

Yea. There was some instinctual reason it took me two weeks to see this and it's not sexism, like some people are blaming the low box office on. (Aftet all Fury Road is one of the best action films of all time.) Furiosa was ok, but unnecessary. Unlike all the other installments, this one cannot stand alone. Slow and stylistically unsure of itself, it's a popularity vehicle and simp magnet for ATJ, and lacking in story, action, and real imminent danger. Directed like the origin story for an omnipotent, unkillable superhero rather than a dystopian tale with actual high stakes. Please, no more of these so-called prequels.
