It's a weird one but my favorite role of Margaret Qualley is as Mama in Death Stranding. Also liked her dancing in that insane video they made for the designer brand, Kenzo.

Oh gosh, I LOVE The Year of Living Dangerously. That movie makes my heart ache. The dialogue. Linda Hunt’s performance. Mel and Sigourney. All of it!

Nice movie recommendation for "The Year Living Dangerously". I'd never even heard of it, but it appears to be a hidden gem from the early 80s based on the reviews im reading. I'll definitely check it out.

Thank you both for reviewing this film. I, like Nick, read the book it's based off of which I highly recommend. Although I would've preferred Robert Pattinson in the film I'm sure if Nick likes it I will as well. So thank you again ❤️

This was actually really good. It seemed to drag on forever and I thought it was three hours but it was worth it. Both Sides was fantastic too. The Benny Safdie character was left completely ambiguous as to whether he was CIA or working for a rival oil company.

Trouble Every Day is my favorite Denis film as well. I saw it YEARS ago and it’s still my favorite. High Life was pretty great also though.

Looks dull to me!!...but glad you gave a shout out to the magnificent Tindersticks!...What an amazing band, if you're not familiar with their music, do yourself a favour and listen to it. (I'd recommend Bloomsbury Theatre live concert in 1995, Waiting for the Moon, and so much more).. No surprise they found their calling with soundtracks because every one of their songs is a story, every one could be a film in itself.

Haha! Nick: "This wasn't filmed there, this filmed in Panama" I think, yeah, would "a kind of journalist" write an article "disparaging the Nicaraguan government" while there, during a pandemic. I guess it's sticking to what Joseph remarks, "feels like an espionage, thriller, prosedural love story..." Going with Panama as its backdrop :D

Omg when I was watching Maid, I had no idea that Margaret was Andie's daughter. They're both so incredibly beautiful, but I have a feeling that y'all would not enjoy Maid😂. I would have watched this just for Margaret but oof, you saved me another 2 hours+ because this looks like...UM NO.

as a fellow thespian - I fuck with Margaret & Safdie, but this film is terrible. I've been in some bad film projects so it's not the actor's fault - but the film was hollow & aimless. At times I was like TF is going on bruh??????
