Just stick to their own "world" The lethal protector comic series of Venom just stuck to San Francisco and Venom protecting his streets. I understand with Ant man the quantum world is introduced but these CBMs are so much high comedies the stakes null.

Knull is one of the recent additions to the franchise in the comic books. I never cared for him in the cox, so I can't really see getting excited over him in the movies if they're going to have a fourth one.

Knull is like a Thanos end of the universe level villain in the comics - there was a very awesome storyline called “King in Black” in 2020 that went across all the main Marvel titles like Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four etc…He had no business being used in this movie but unfortunately since he is a “Spider-Man” related character Sony has the film rights to use him. He would have been better used as an overarching threat across like 5 MCU movies culminating in an Avengers level team up movie but whatever. It still baffles me how Sony just keeps doing this mess. The only success they have with this IP is when it’s a Marvel Studios co-production.

I actually enjoyed the first movie! Though I think part of it was just that I didn't expect it to be a buddy comedy? And I think having the "funny man" of the duo be offscreen for a fair amount of the movie helped with the jokes, kept it from being too quippy-Marvel and let them play with the comic timing. Didn't see the second one after it universally got pretty dismal reviews. I like Juno Temple a lot so I might see this if the humour is like the first one?

not me feeling sad that Venom dies LOL. I'm no Marvel fan but something about these dumb Venom films moves me despite the very legitimate criticisms of the plotting and worldbuilding. I think maybe bc Eddie and Venom are both kinda losers, and they found eachother? And Tom Hardy's crackpot approach to performing these characters helps too. I'll probably watch this on streaming.

To better explain who knull is Knull like you said is the creator he made everything that involve venom, knull technically is the villain but he isn't due to the fact venom won't survive a straight on assault on venom cuz knull in general is physically too powerful for him to go up against the king in black (knull) so its rumored that knull will be saved for spiderman 4, but knull is mostly comparable to the likes of thanos the mad titan from infinity war and end game

The way Tom Hardy looks in this reminds me of when I was at a theater in China. Leonardo DiCaprio was in an ad before the movie for a Chinese car company. Was so obvious they like put up a green screen in his hotel room in Italy the day after a party cuz he looked bloated and hung over as hell ... People were giggling

I think this movie will still make a lot of money at the box office. The first got 800 something million!! The 2nd got 500 something but it was 2021, during pandemic time. I've seen comments in other reviews, so many fans say they like venom, so even if it's a bad movie, they'll still go watch it. 😐
