+Tyler Hoppe I don't know their reason, but my reason is the shock absorption and visibility. Tossing 6-8oz lures is hard on lines. Although I use Fluorocarbon, its the same reasoning. I only fish swim-baits in clearer water conditions so braid is out of the question.

best bass fishing in the world.pb 14 pds caught post spawn in a float tube,the oldest largest non man made lake in cali,fishing here for 30 years this lake is the best 35 40 pd strings more common than not,lake holds some moster channel cats as well.
