Fishman vs EMG vs Fleor - METAL!

I love my EMGs...I know Fishman is all the rage right now as they are somewhat new on the market. One thing I know for sure is when it comes to laying down a guitar solo the EMGs have always stood out. I have 2 guitars with EMGs, one has an 85 in the bridge position the other has an 81 in the bridge pos. Surprisingly I like the 81 over the 85 in the bridge, it's a bit warmer but still has that great EMG attack.

There are really small differences between them, but fleor pickups are great for the price they sell, great video.

In hindsight I should have put the Fishman's in their "passive" setting when comparing them to the Fleor pickups. But, yes, the Fleor pickups are a great CHEAP pickup!

You can't really go wrong with EMGs, they are classic! The Fleor pickups are the "hexbucker" style. Ceramic, high output.

i didnt hear lot of diffrence between emg an fishy, only other one stood out of the mix and solo. emg and fishy are very close

Thanks Thanks Thanks a lot lot lot...... Man..... it really clears the myth and hype that the fishman got, that they are the pickups to go.... I too liked A and C but couldn't make out which were the best so I will keep my EMGs...... because they are just degraded by fishmans 2 pickup in one strategy it doesn't mean that one should abandon EMGs ..... and there's nothing extraordinary in them as compared to EMGs.

You're very welcome. I understand the feeling of giving in to the hype, which is why I made the video. Yes, the Fishman's sound great, but so do the EMGs. I would NOT take the EMGs out for Fishman. Not a knock on Fishman, but to me, they sound about equal. Thanks for commenting!

EMG a lot of head room and well balanced sound, Fleor not that much, no low end
