Epidemic Sound is a music licensing company that provides a wide range of music tracks and sound effects for various creative projects. They offer both personal and commercial subscriptions, each tailored to different types of users and purposes.
The personal subscription is best for youtube or social media creators that only have one account per platform, and don't do any work for third parties.
The commercial subscription is ideal for creators who have multiple youtube channels, or also work as freelance editors and video producers for clients.
If you want to use epidemic sound music in a feature film or tv show, you'll have to email them to set up an enterprise license agreement.

Me again with a question 😊: with a personal (cheapest 😁) plan (either on Epidemic or Artlist), can I use their music and sound effects on product sponsored, promotional, affiliated, collaboration, etc videos on my KZbin channel? I am almost ready to open my new KZbin channel, and I am trying to figure out which plan would work best for me for now. I assume it will take some time before I get a sponsorship or collaboration from a brand for my videos, so I am thinking of going with the personal plan for the 1st year and then making a switch to the next as the need arises. Hey! Yes, with both artlist and epidemic you can post sponsored videos etc. on your own channel under the personal license! Commercial is only necessary if you’re posting videos on other people’s channels or selling the actual video you made for use by a client (i.e. wedding videos, corporate videos etc.)

In the account safelist page there’s an “add more” button under each social media platform. You can safelist up to 3 accounts per platform

you can only post new videos with the music while you have an active subscription, but any videos you posted will remain copyright free forever, even if your subscription ends.

I would recommend commercial so you can clear both channels, that way you don’t have to worry about copyright claims affecting the visibility of videos on your creative channel, plus if your creative channel starts to get a lot of views, you wont miss out on monetization! :)

Nope! Any videos posted with an active personal plan will remain cleared forever, even if your subscription expires.

You can, but it will require you to individually safelist videos which would probably be a big pain. Maybe the best way to handle it is have each client pay for an epidemic subscription of their own, or get more epidemic accounts and link their channels directly (obviously you’d pass that extra expense on to your clients)
