So I’m a single momma of 2 wonderful sons. And we absolutely love kayaking and FISHING!! But… we get hung up on ourselves, anchor string and brothers pants lol. My youngest son and I love the little 4 ft boys. His kayak is only 6ft since he’s so small. My youngest is 8 and eldest 15. So we really need protection for our poles. I’ve recently made a lure cover so, the rod sock is next. Every rod sock I’ve ordered that claimed it was for a youth pole wasn’t. Praise the Lord my momma rubbed off on me and I can be crafty when needed. Ur video was amazing and took the time to explain so I can do it myself. Thanks again and God Bless y’all

So let me understand, if I fold the material inwards like you show, when pulling your rod back out what prevents the eyes from grabbing the material on the inside and pulling it back out or bending your guides? Thank you, Mike from Oregon

Man, I am so sorry i missed this. We didn't do spinning rods, but I would guess you'd want 2" at least. Again apologies for missing this.
