What I really like about this video is it clears up the no shit definition of crosshair placement being "aim at headshot level." In my opinion, crosshair placement is the most valuable factor in one's aim in Valorant and it's a topic worth going in depth with like you did for this video. Thank you Fishychair! I've been a fan of you since 4k subscribers, and keep pushing out great content!!

I've watched dozens of videos on this, and no one has gone this in depth. THANK YOU. I have generally decent aim, and this helps. Not only does your video help with crosshair placement, it also helps you understand certain aspects of how duels are lost, helping me analyze later. I'm in low elo, so unfortunately some of those aim tips don't really work (i.e. players almost always push out of smokes from the front, for example) This is sstill a huge step forward, thanks! I just wanna say, thank you fishy. I dont play ranked, but when i did play, i was iron 3. I literally didnt know how i was supposed to hit headshots at ALL. It would have been considered good for me if i got 1 headshot every 5 rounds. I was always at the bottom of the scoreboard and couldn't enjoy the game at all and i quit for a while Then, i saw your "one tapping radiants" video, and fell in love with it. After watching your videos, and this tutorial, my headshot rate is now 22% average. Not amazing, but it was a massive improvement for me. Now i can finally enjoy valorant. I even sometimes play chamber and try to only use the headhunter. Thank you for teaching me how to play the game.

I think one of the best tips in here is to envision your opponent before they peek. This ties in with 'always' expecting an opponent around a corner you are peeking and imagining them actually standing there. There are countless psychological studies into reaction time, but what a lot of people don't realise (especially when you do a reaction speed test) is that reaction speed is WAY better (faster, lower) when a person is expecting a target versus when they are not. Due to the nature of reaction speed tests (and studies), most people taking them will be prepared to react to a cue and will thus be faster. This means that 'This one SIMPLE trick (-,-)' actually makes you a lot faster at shooting people. I hope this helps someone, let me know if it did :)

Crosshair placement is easy. I saw a Dev explain it once. He said, since 99% of objects in Valorant are made by cubes, and enemie are the exact height of cubes, justput your crosshair where the cube stops vertically. Easy. Look at everything as cubes. There are a lot of visual markers on walls in Valorant, to show where one cube ends and another begins. It's the timing for me, I often click too close to an angle or too late. Low elo players tend it crouch a lot too, and that makes me miss.
