Baby faced Wranglerstar, I remember these early days of KZbin with fondness

Got the x27 about a month ago. It's all I use now. The splitting maul just sits in my woodshed unloved and not missed. The x27 does all the same work with less effort.

I have not found that my X27 needs re-edged, even after splitting 2 cords of wood. It maintains an edge very well, just as well as any other splitter I've used. That's my experience.

Love my X27 I can split hardwoods all day with it. Much less fatiguing than a maul.

This must be an old video. I wonder how his sister's lip looks, if you can still see a battle scar?

I eventually succumbed and got the X27 on a deal. But I rely on GF spitting axe. But the Fiskars done the job for 1/5 of the price. Would it still do the job in 10- 20 years? Who knows I'll be 70-80 years old by then.....

My old school monster maul would make those lightweight axes look silly.
