22:40 They need to supply a keyboard that snaps to that tray, that allows you to use the tablet display as a PC. i.e. via a bootable micro USB key with Windows or Linux on it.

Yes, I am a landscape guy as well. Just looks and feels a lot cleaner to me. Yes, the keyboard idea is fantastic! They should be able to do that with bluetooth you would think.

@@EV-365 Now the funny thing is Aye is a Scottish word for yes ! Now Dundee in Scotland had a great relationship with India a long time ago for it's dute. I know the Indian people have a very good relationship with Scotland as many Scottish soldiers are buried there and their graves are looked after by the Indian people

Solid review and you covered all the most important aspects. You also have a great broadcasting voice. Quick correction regarding DC fast charge. Even on 350 kw chargers, the ONE maxes out at 200kw/h. I’ve gotten as high as 171, but that was briefly and most of the time its around 145kw/h. On a 150 kw/h charger, expect upwards of 115-120kw/h. This has been mostly on Electrify America and i have 2200 miles on my FOO.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I am seeing 200 kw/h and 250 kw/h posted in different areas, but I agree, I think the Ocean uses a 400-volt architecture that supports DC-fast charging rates of as much as 200 kW. I am going to try and do a charging speed test in the next few days and see what we get. Charging station typically never give you the posted speed, and if they do, only for a short period of time when the state of charge is on the lower end. We'll see what we get!

Why is the Fisker so heavy? This should certainly affect range and/or efficiency, no? Battery size is either 80kW or 115kW while the Tesla Y is 74kW. the Fisker Ocean curb weight is 5,369 lb, which is a lot. For reference, the Tesla Model Y Performance weight is 4,398 lbs (971 lbs or 18 percent less), while the heaviest Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance's weight is 5,018 lbs

I’m sure it’s primarily the extra battery. Also Tesla builds their cars very lean and screen control heavy. Fisker has a decent amount of buttons so all that extra stuff to make those buttons go adds up. Also more stuff that can break of course!

Great review - really great - but it's in park. I'm curious about how it feels when it does its job - meaning driving. How are the regenerative brakes, the feel, acceleration, etc.

@EV-365 the 10-80% heavily relies on both charging curve and battery capacity. The capacity we know and it's specced, but the curve of course it's not specced. I've seen credible online evidence of 33 34mins for 10-80%. Rating is 34m35s. The 250kW rating seems to be gone...

Cheap EVs. Yes the mini is a good price. I live in North Carolina and I bought my Ioniq 6 AWD for 38k. The Fiat 500ev is going to be 32k and 140 miles range. The Volvo ec30 will be 30k to my knowledge.

Nice looking, but questionable whether he will survive or not. I'd be afraid to buy one now, as there are no service centers , lack if support, leggy software, etc. I do have sport on order way back. But cost has increased to $39k, range decreased to 230 miles from 250 originaly promised. huge delivery fee almost $3k, with new model 3 highland available, I may just loose my $250 from fisker and just get tesla.

There is definitely risk with going with a new automaker, but part of being an early adopter. Why is you quoted delivery fee so high? Mine was $550ish before I switched over to the One which has delivery included.

I own an R1T and Ioniq 6 and have realized that unless you own it, you can't review it properly. I've heard many incorrect statements by influencers about vehicles that they do not own. I rely on owner content.

What an A hole team venom is. Currently around 15 states have near future EV mandates, over 20 have emission inspections. The Fisker Ocean is the best bang for your buck Ev with multiple patented features that no other vehicle has and just happens to be the most environmentally friendly vehicles made with recycled materials. I think Fisker has the best chance by far to rival Tesla. The Ocean looks waaaaay better than Tesla cars.

I think Fisker has concentrated first in the EU since they are made there. But their new business model, along with all the accolades they have garnered in 2023/24, will start to build momemtum here in the US. As the reviewer noted, the Ocean design was meant to appeal to the American buyer, which happens to be the 2nd largest EV market after China. So, despite the stock tanking to $1, I think this company has a future. The C-suite needs to execute the plan at a high level in 2024 & 2025, and I believe Wall Street will change its tune. For those with $ to commit to this company at this high risk stage, you have the potential for a 10X bagger.

What a waste of time to read your unqualified comment. In truth, at the moment, NOBODY knows what will happen to the company. But: I own and drive an Ocean Extreme and can say: They sell and deliver very high-quality cars. The reported problems with software and service have become much better. I have no problems at all. It is a premium product. The best car I've ever driven. I love it every day. They will make it.
