@MrTekniqs10 күн бұрын
I don't understand the aversion to minivans. If you need the passenger space a mini van is just better than an SUV. SUVs feel like death traps on the highway if you're in the back. This vehicle is absolutely huge.
@johnxy8888 күн бұрын
Gravity is actually much smaller than other 3 row SUVs... if you look at their recent video ("The Studio: Maximizing Space"), there is a side-by-side shot of Gravity next to Air, and it looks only 20-30% taller. You can tell Lucid did a lot of work to not expand the width/cross-section of Gravity, and that pays off with 400 mile [target] range. I would love for this to have sliding minivan doors, but I would be willing to accept this. VW ID.Buzz is the only EV minivan on the horizon, and I'm worried it is too big to have competitive efficiency.

Think twice before buying. Bought the NEMA 14-30 splitter. It will not work on EV car. Will fire up and shit down instantly. Dryer side port works fine. Amp on box is 50 and o issues there. Plugged car directly into dryer plug, no issue there. Contacted Neocharge who says it is aware of software issues and hope to have a fix soon. When trying to get more answers it goes unanswered. Likely going to return the item and just have electrician install another 240 in the garage. The service from Neocharge is non existent. You mentioned charging slows down as you approach or exceed 80%. That's incorrect, the curve kicks in well before that. Look at the speeds in this video. At each 10% mark, it's going slower and slower. It's a mistake to imply that it can hold the max charging rate to 80%.
@EV-3655 күн бұрын

Love when folks make videos like these, showing how easy it is to add a plug to any hard-wired EVSE. 2 Things of note, 1. Max safe Amperage on Plug vs Hard wired 2. The wiring diagram recommends wrapping the wires up and over the block (when feeding from bottom) and opposite when feeding from top inlet. Guess it gives a better service loop. and also gives extra support from wires not being pulled/stressed on the locking nuts for wires Great video!

Hi Raj! I just won my arbitration case today! Unfortunately, it is the same day Fisker Group filed for bankruptcy. The document the judge sent over states “Fisker now has a legal obligation to repurchase the vehicle” I am wondering what your thoughts are on this given the circumstances revolved around their bankruptcy. Do you think them being legally obligated matters anymore? I am not sure if I will be paid back even with winning the case. Also, have you been paid back yet?
@EV-365Ай бұрын
Glad you won the case! They have been turning a lot of them down. As expected, I have not been paid back, and have received no communication from Fisker. NCDS has tried to reach out to them and no response. I financed through Fisker Finance (aka Chase) so I am putting the pressure on them to get this resolved as well, and have made clear to them and Fisker Legal that I am not sending in any more payments. I am not sure how bankruptcy is going to affect this. Companies are supposed to have money set aside for warranty related issues (this would fall under that), but I read somewhere that they did not do that. Either way, having that paperwork with the decision is good to have as we navigate this. Ping me directly if you want to chat further!
@michaelmcfadden6125Ай бұрын
@@EV-365thank you for responding to my comment! I just got notice from NCDS that because Fisker filed for bankruptcy, my case is no longer applicable. You may want to contact them as well. I would love to get on a call and chat about alternative solutions with you sometime. This whole situation is mind boggling to me. Right now, I’m at a cross roads. The dealership I purchased the car from is offering me a Fisker they currently have that is working order in exchange for the current Fisker that doesn’t work. Honestly, the car is unsafe and not dependable so I would take that car and sell it. But at this point, I would lose an arm and leg doing so. I’m sure the longer I wait, the larger the likelihood of the dealership revoking that offer. I’m not sure if I should risk it, reject the offer from the dealership and take my chances with a document from the NCDS stating that Fisker has a legal obligation to pay me back for the car. What are your thoughts? I just can’t imagine that because they filed Chapter 11, they don’t have to honor the decision made. The letter also stated the car falls under the Massachusetts lemon law.
@Tacocat12326 күн бұрын
@@michaelmcfadden6125it’s highly unlikely you’ll get money from Fisker at that point, best you can do is grab that working Fisker and give back your lemon.

How is the Lucid holding up for you? Would you buy it again? I would love to see a dedicated owner perspective pros and cons video.
@EV-365Ай бұрын
We sold the Lucid and kept the Rivian. Not a knock on the Lucid, which was great, but I just enjoyed having a truck more. We did have the Lucid for about 9 months, and I honestly did not have any major complaints about the vehicle. Really enjoyed it. It drove and handled extremely well, had great charging speeds, was extremely efficient, and felt premium on the inside. The storage on the vehicle was second to none for a sedan (so much room). Also the legroom for both front and back passengers was great. The only cons I would pass along was that the connectivity with the software was spotty with my iPhone. I had to reconnect often, but I would imagine this was something they resolved with software updates. The other thing was that the vehicle had a really low A pillar which could get in the way at drive-troughs, bank tellers, or when trying to punch in a gate code. But I could deal with the A-pillar issue after I got used to it. I never had to put in a service ticket (which is a good thing), so I can't speak on how responsive their service team is. After the Fisker however, I would tell anyone that does not want to take the risk of buying a vehicle that expensive from a startup, to wait. Lucid does have much deeper pockets than Fisker, but you never know. If you are OK with that risk, I am good with recommending the vehicle.

Congrats on your win, I went thru that process years ago with my Mercedes and eventually won, albeit it was time consuming. I have been asking Fisker / Chase for loan documents for my Ocean One and have never received loan documents. Yes, they deliverd the car without full payment six months ago. Today they came and pulled the car from my driveway. My neghbor called and I approached the driver ,who was wielding a crowbar, and asked for paperwork ,he refused, actually said he did not have any. I ws not about to independently start a fight with a large, tow truck drive and his, also large, sidekick. I called the police as they towed away the car. The police filed a police report and I called Chase, who admitted they do not have a loan on my car. I have registration in my name wihout any lien. I understand , thru a Fisker ex-employee, that there are many owners like me who do not have finalized loan documents thru Chase. I know I filed more than one application and followed up every week at first then bi-weekly to get loan documents . As is the case for all Fisker staff, the person I would talk to would not be an employee within a few days. I had also, all of the dazzling typical problems with the car. I ordered, and received , the Ocean One with all of the options available. It spent the first three weeks in the shop and when I picked it up all of the same problems existed except the seat mat had been replaced and the car would mostly start.
