My paternal ancestors came from Meraker, which is on another river in Trondelag. I noticed the decorative reel seat and a comment about the rod being a GLX stinger. The GLoomis death fish decals are so common where I live, that I didn't notice them in this video at first. As a retired fish biologist, I have met George Loomis, founder and former owner of GLoomis. The GLoomis rods are made in Woodland, Washington State, about a 20-minute drive from my house.
