The mug think makes no sense the more i hear it. Not a dirty mug anywhere. In the sink area. Most ppl dont put mugs in the sink to keep it clear for usey parwnts keep dirty water mugs on their counter too. Then she throws it away when its clean and stored with the other cups. Why throw it away? Also the jealousy about him being ambitious etc and lying…. Idk.

I still don't understand why someone would throw away a mug because it was in a cupboard just because it had a chip in it? Seems like a weird choice. I would be upset, personally, especially if it was a favorite. Also, blaming it on other employees: that's a villain move. I don't feel there's any justification for this

Honestly, agreed. If she would have tried to figure out who owned the mug before tossing it out that would be one thing. But seeing a mug that you already know is someone's personal item and still tossing it? not cool. She could have even asked the supervisor of the other department, like "Hey do you know who's mug this is? do you think it's okay if I toss it out? it has a huge chip in it." I would have been more okay with that compared to just throwing it out. Granted it was a dirty mug that was sitting in the sink for a few days, but that just means someone used it recently.

mug girl saying how she hates how her job only gets paper dishes and its so wasteful but then throws out someone elses reusable ceramic mug LMAO i havent heard it brought the up yet but chipped ceramics can be not great for you. besides the risk of cutting yourself from a sharp edge, bacteria can now start to gather and live in the chip making it unhygienic. and depending on what kind of glaze it could be dangerous. there are ways to fix a chip on a ceramic but personally i havent done so and i dont think i would trust putting something in my mouth no matter what type of glue it is :p and gold's a bit pricey. but also not her mug so not her risk xD

Totally unrelated but just wanted to send a genuine thank you to Miles and the podcast - recently lost two family members and was having a really hard time dealing with it. I spent hours at night just listening to the podcast while playing a video game just to take my mind off how sad I was. Probably was the only thing able to pull a smile or laugh out of me. I ended up ordering a PP sweater to show support for the only thing that could take my mind off of things. 💕

Ask this person over text more questions that’s the whole point of dating apps. Why are you entertaining this person if you don’t know if you’re interested or not. And if it’s in a hook up way then you should just avoid it because you work with them. Every true crime story that I listen to that has an older male he ends up murdering his spouse. She’s usually younger they were in some capacity working together. mug girl trying to spin the owner of the mug as the weird one is insane behavior. Even if the office provides paper cups and stuff, it's totally normal to have reusable mugs in the office! Like sure it's chipped, condition isn't pristine. But throwing it away without permission seems so wasteful and inconsiderate. The only situation I can see it being fine to throw away is if you fully break the mug by accident. That's it. I can't remember what episode Miles says it, but he mentioned that occasionally the bully in the scenario calls in to the show to feel vindicated that they weren't in the wrong. This story absolutely reeks of that kind of call in, I hate to say it.
