my favorite part of this show is the chit chat Miles & his guests have before getting to the phone lines. Also, soo ingenious to have a google drive folder of baby photos and videos that you can share with friends and family without having to post on social media ❤

I’m shocked Miles doesn’t know what Macrame is. With the all the vintage items on his set and living in California, I just figured he constantly be walking into rooms with plants hanging in macrame holders. 😂

lol hey Miles fyi, often the candy-replacement for people in recovery is less "value-replacement" and more sugar-replacement, because booze, especially beer, has a TON of sugar in it, so when ya get sober you get INSANE sugar cravings. can attest. Lol, the value-replacement is in the cigarettes and vapes and zyn pouches and energy drinkies obviouslyyyyy XD

The uncle story: I don't know how any of these people thought this would be a good idea. Firstly, the brother and his wife asked a 22yo, who's brain isn't fully formed and can't really make decisions like that to their full capabilities yet, to be their sperm donor to "keep it in the family". That sounds like his youth was taken advantage of or at least these people aren't smart enough to consider that a college-aged person should not be given this type of decision to make. They should have proposed the idea and given it a 5y marinating period or something like that. Side-note, I could never ever, nor do I ever want to even fucking think about having my partners brother's DNA inside of me like that. This might be very personal to my beliefs and viewpoints on sex, having children, pregnancy, and that whole umbrella topic, but it feels borderline violating in my mind. Secondly, not to the fault of the 22yo uncle at the time, these people literally did zero thinking about this whole thing. No questions and answers round. Nothing. No "What if the kid grows up to look more like the bio dad?", "How will this secret affect future relationships?", "What if she ever finds out?", "What will keeping a secret like this do to our family and mental health?", "How are we gonna handle medical situations?", and honestly most importantly: Why would you want to create a lie and secret so heavy for everyone to carry for the rest of their lives and "to the grave"? That's such a unnecessary toxic thing to manifest into your lives. Just tell them how it is. Explain to the family the situation with fertility and then tell the kid how it is, too. Keeping a secret is way worse and has potentially catastrophic repercussions when it comes out. Plus it just weighs on everyone and is now ruining the uncles relationships because, ugh, yeah? All of his relationships have de facto been built upon lies and secrets. This will never work or be healthy. Ultimately I do not understand why they couldn't have just adopted or gotten a random donor who they'd have zero connection or ties to. And how there was so little thought about the future. It's giving really bad lack in logical and critical thinking. It also now feels like the child's whole existence is built on a lie. She's the real victim in this whole ordeal and I think they should tell everyone. Including the child. She will find out eventually and I wouldn't blame her for never talking to her family again. I really have zero sympathy for these people. A little for the uncle though.

TL;DR you can be intolerant/allergic to eggs but it can go away after a while. A little while after I had mono and during a bad wildfire season I developed an allergy to quail and duck eggs, but only slightly to chicken eggs. I went to the allergist and they didn’t have a test for quail/duck eggs (because what weirdo is allergic to only those 🙋♀️), so they just tested me for chicken eggs and turns out I showed up mildly allergic to egg whites. So I stopped all eggs for about 4 months and then tried chicken eggs again and was totally fine. Too scared to try the other eggs because they made me violently ill. Basically I think my immune system was just freaking out from the mono/smoke exposure and decided that eggs were the enemy. Maybe try them again in a couple months to see if they still mess with your stomach.
