this is heavy but it’s no where near as heavy as their creation/destruction album. Like songs like the lioness, the resistance, or warpath; and hollow king.. that shit was heavy. This is heavy but the atmosphere isn’t really “heavy”

Like why is it so bad when a band wants to change tone they barely dialed back like this album is still neckbreaker heavy, maybe a little repetitive, maybe a bit weaker on the lyrical side but saying something is shit just because it isnt “heavy” is the most closed minded bullshit reason. If its so bad to experiment with different things how can a band grow or get any better? It doesn’t, it just stays the same because nobody wants something different that could potentially be better or eye opening

The atmosphere isn't heavy because their emotion isn't heavy with sadness in this album, it's a more uplifting heaviness. I noticed raw emotion in Prophet the most, my favorite atm.
