Comparing them to Gojira is a fucking compliment, Gojira is one of the best bands today and Fit For An Autopsy is easily the greatest "deathcore" band around. The Great Collapse is one hell of an album, fucking masterpiece

The chorus in Black Mammoth is extremely reminiscent of Gojira's "Shooting Star"

Other than that one drum beat there's really no comparison to be made. 'The Shooting Star' has more of a progressive/stoner rock sound to it. The guitar riffs are different, the vocal styles are nothing alike, and the production doesn't sound similar.

Tai-Bere Yes! If you have a 7 string, tune the 1st 6 strings to D tuning and then drop the 7th to G. It's more simple than I thought. For the one around 0:33 he just plays the first 3 strings open. They must have some sort of effect over it to give it that "Voxy" tone and as for the ones in the breakdown at the end, just slowly bend the g string on the 4th fret as you strum the first two strings open. And then the next measure play it on the 5 fret but don't bend. Hope that helps.
