Hi! I’m planning on applying for the Fall 2025 program for FIT as an international transfer student. Due to certain processing issues with my identification documents, it will be incredibly difficult to submit my toefl scores before February 1st. Considering all my other transcripts and portfolio+essays are in place, will this hinder my application in any way? The submission of the scores won’t be delayed more than a week/10 days at maximum

of course! you can apply the first year or anytime after you graduate highschool. Your gpa is included in the transcript which you must submit. For essay, it seems like the school wants students who can vividly see their future and see how they can apply the skill set learned from FIT. Try to narrow down your goal and elaborate it on your essay. If you feel lost, read through the application pages on their website! they're quite helpful:)

hi! I went to a community college in Washington State, and I took classes under General Studies - basically include basic requirement classes that most major programs require like Business 101 or Communication 101. I'd recommend doing this if you're not sure what you want to major when you transfer to 4 year uni

Double major is an option, or you can totally take Business classes even if you major in Design and vice versa!

Can you please elaborate on the living situation in NYC? About the expense and everything also is an Associate degree in FBM of 1 year enough to get a job since I've already done 2 year Diploma Course in FD. I am planning on applying for Fall 2025 intake so please kindly help me out.

@@JumshiTaba Hi! if you already have an associate's degree with Fashion Design, I think you might be qualified for their Bachelor program. Personally I don't think it's necessary for you to study associate program again unless you simply want a diploma from FIT. Most corporate jobs require bachelor's degree, fyi.

안녕하세요. 지금 수능 끝난 고3인데 어쩌다가 뉴욕주립대 FIT 즉 패션경영학과에 관심을 가지게 되었어요. 근데 제 고등학교 점수가 좀 낮고 패션에 대해 한번도 배워본 적은 없지만 평소에 패션에 관해 관심 있었어요. 하지만 제 생기부가 다 스포츠 쪽이어서 지원이 가능한지 궁금해요. 혹시 이런 경우에도 뉴욕주립대 글로벌 캠퍼스에 입학할 수 있을까요?

안녕하세요, 제가 FIT 에서 오퍼가 나왔는데 12학년이 아직 안끝났거든요. 근데 대학교 오퍼에 “몇점 유지해라” 이런말이 없는데 원레 그런건가요? 제 gpa가 몇점 정도 유지되어야 할까요? 혹시 좀 낮아지면 제 오퍼가 취소될까요?
